William (Bill) Roland Harris, Jr., 74 of St. Marys, GA passed away at the home of his brother, William Francis Harris and his wife, Cynthia Wallis Harris after a prolonged illness on August 26, 2024.

Survivors are his wife, Marlene Harris, two brothers: William Francis Harris (Cynthia), John A. Myers (Dawn), and sister, Linda K. Fisher (Joe). Two sons also survive him: Michael P. Harris (Tracie) and Martin D. Harris (Sandra) as well as two stepdaughters: Nina Saur and Jody Busch.
Bill leaves behind grandchildren Jacob and Tyler Harris (Michael Harris), and Austin and Kennedy Harris (Martin Harris) as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in Bill's death were his parents (Edna M. Myers-Wagoner, Wm. R. Harris, Sr.), a sister (Dana Gwen Myers) and wife (Patricia Ann Pedrick).

Bill retired from General Motors near Baltimore, MD. He had an interest in building/remodeling houses. Bill built a beautiful house using oak pallets to enhance some interior walls. It was a dream of his to work with his brother, Billy, to work on houses in GA. Auto-body work was another hobby in which he took an interest. As an avid classic vehicles enthusiast, he once owed a yellow Camaro, which he dearly loved.

Per Bill's request, there will not be a memorial or burial service.
