William Edward Barlow, Sr. passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at home with his family by his side.

Born at the family's home affectionately known as the "Old Place" on October 31, 1939, in Kingsland, GA, he was the youngest child of the late Needham A. Barlow, Sr. and the late Brunell Bashlor Barlow.

Ed Barlow was a lifelong resident of Camden County. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. After many years of work, he retired from Gilman/Durango Paper Company.

Survivors include his wife, Dorinda Barlow of Kingsland; two children, Christie Barlow (Jim Fouche) of Kingsland, and Edward Barlow, Jr. (Christie) of St. Mary's, GA ; one brother, James E. Barlow (Mary) of Carrollton, GA ; grandchildren, Christopher Barton (Abby) of Tifton, GA, and Ashley Suarez (Aaron) of Kingsland, GA.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by three sisters, Colleen Barlow, Cleo Barlow and Helen Barlow Nall; and brothers, N.A. Barlow, Jr., and Winston Barlow, Sr.

A Graveside service will be held at Lawnwood Cemetery on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Carnation Foundation at Georgia Hospice Care or the charity of your choice.
