Susan Irene Waldron, 82, of Woodbine passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Camden Campus.

Born in Woodbine, Georgia on May 28, 1942, to the late Lee and Ocie Martin Liles. Susan was devoted to her family and enjoyed serving the people of her community for over 25 years as the Clerk of Superior Court for Camden County, always being fair, treated everyone with respect and never hurtful to anyone. She was the first female All State basketball player for Camden County. Vegetable gardening was her passion and she was an avid football fan who loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Camden County Wildcats. Susan was a very private person and always tried to support her local hometown businesses.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Jackson Liles and Hubert Liles; two sisters Lucille Clark and Sandra Grund.

Survivors include her children Lee Waldron, Beth Weigers, and Chris Waldron; grandchildren Rachel Watson and Emily Waldron; and a brother Jon Liles.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.
