Ronna Anne Jones Nelson, 79, of Kingsland, GA passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at her residence.

Ronna was born in Loudon, TN to the late John and Audrey Jones. She graduated in 1964 from Hiawassee Jr College, a United Methodist affiliated College in Madisonville, TN and received her Bachelor of Science at Georgia State University in 1981. While living and working in Atlanta, GA she met and married the love of her life, William 'Kirk" Kirkland Nelson. Kirk was originally from Camden County and they moved from Atlanta in 1986 back to Camden County. Ronna started her real estate career selling property in Shadowlawn subdivision. She opened the first sales office in Osprey Cove. She then opened up her own real estate company, Coastal Living Realty. She ended her real estate career with Watson Realty. She was the past president of the Camden Rotary and received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award by the International Rotary Foundation. She hosted several exchange students in her home throughout the years.

Survivors are her brother, Johnny Jones (Trish) of Kathleen, GA. Her sister, Linda Jones Victory (Frank) of Kingsland, GA. Many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 6-7 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.
