Richard Tyrone Padilla, 90 of St Marys, GA passed away on April 23, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Richard was born on October 10, 1935 to Renee Padilla and Alice Molano Padilla. He served in the US Navy as a communications director and retired after 20 years of service. He then went to work at Lockeed Martin in Kings Bay, Ga for five years. He enjoyed working so he started working at Lowe's and continued working until he retired at 85 years old.

Richard was proceeded in death by his parents, Renee and Alice Padilla. His wife, Sandra Padilla and his son in law, Raymond Griffis.

Survivors are his partner, Nellie Zollo of St. Marys, GA, daughter, Dewyse Griffis of Lawtey, FL, step son, Jason Jones (Ashley) of Kingsland, GA, a sister, Jeanette Padilla of St. Marys, GA. Grandchildren, Amanda Lema (Jeff) of Middleburg, FL, Jessica Davis and Angela Griffis, both of Lawtey, FL, Brayden Jones and Brinley Jones, both of Kingsland, GA. Great Grandchildren, Wyatt Ritter and Bryce Ritter, both of Middleburg, FL and Dawson Sullivan of Lawtey, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
