Rebecca Roxanne Mefford, 66, of Kingsland, GA passed away at her  residence on August 7, 2023.

Rebecca was born on December 11, 1956 in Jacinto, TX to the late George and Ruby Kellebrew Ridings. She was a Highschool graduate  and was the manager of Days Inn. She loved her family dearly and especially her grandchildren. Rebecca loved shopping, getting her nails done, playing games and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Mefford, a daughter, Laurie Norman, and a sister, Betty Silva.

She is survived by her children, Derek Hapney (Layla) of St. Marys, GA, Michael Norman (Stefanie) of Kingsland, GA, Jeremy Norman (Dawn) of Houston, TX, and Amy Olson (Nathan) of Balston, NY. Two brothers, David Ridings of Laporte, TX and Johnny Ridings (Shirley) of Bremond, TX. Seventeen grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel.

Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
