Phillip Dow Hickox,79, passed on from this life at his home in St. Marys, GA on March 17, 2025.

Phillip was born in Brunswick, GA on March 4, 1946 to Gwen Hickox and Morris Hickox. He was proud of his service in the Navy on the USS Collett DD730 during the Vietnam era.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Morris (Mickey) Hickox, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Hickox; four stepchildren whom he loved dearly: James Shannon Guynes (Esther); Kimberly Ann Morrow (Tim); Rendell Paul Guynes (Kinsley); Stephen Michael Guynes and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Phillips memory to the Wounded Warrior project or Tunnel2Towers.
