Perry Richard "Rick" Norton, age 69, passed away on June 22, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Hospital in Brunswick, GA. Born on April 10, 1955, in Virginia, Rick grew up in a military family, eventually settling in Brunswick, GA, where he graduated from Brunswick High School.

Rick made the Golden Isles his permanent residence, where he met his wife, Cindy. He was blessed with four children and eight grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Family vacations were a special joy for Rick, and he helped create many cherished memories that will live on.

Rick's passing is a great loss to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, Richard Paul Norton; his son, Richard Cody Norton; and his granddaughter, Penelope Kodi. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Norton; his mother, Margaret Norton; his son, Shawn Norton; his daughters, Heather Clark and Marinna Morris; his brother, Steve Norton; and his sisters, Paula Moreland and Lisa Norton. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Zoie, Baylee, Kendall, Kacie, Madeline, Mason, Shawn Jr., and Mia.

A visitation and celebration of Rick's life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10 AM at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA
