Paul Michael Brodie, 81, passed away on January 30, 2024 in Winder, Georgia surrounded by his children and granddaughter.

Mike was born on October 11, 1942, in Waycross, Georgia to Paul Buford Brodie and Edith Elizabeth Browning Brodie. He graduated from Camden County High School in 1960. He graduated from the University of Georgia and was the Social Chairman for Sigma Chi Fraternity while he was there. He met Anne Roth, and they were married for 13 years. He worked for the GE credit corporation in Albany, Georgia after college. He then went to work in management for Sears in Augusta, Georgia. In the 1970s, Mike moved to California where he worked as the Director of Conservation for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.  He retired from PG&E and moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida to be closer to his family. Mike was passionate about conservation, protecting nature and animals, snow skiing, windsurfing, jogging, and good food and music. He was into organic food and healthy eating before it was the "cool' thing to do. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors are his two children, Paul Clinton Brodie and Laurie Brodie Brown (Rick). Sister, Pat Brodie Lee, and grandchildren, Cole Brodie (MacKenzie), Carlee Brodie Hutton (James), Tegan McEntire Maurer (Tanner) and Sydney McEntire. Nephews, Joe Lee (Rhonda) and Chad Lee (Kim).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth Brodie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Allison Memorial Chapel.  A private burial will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery.
