Pamela "Pam" Ann Rivera, 54, of St. Marys, Ga passed away at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Fl on April 30, 2022 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by family during her last moments.

Pam was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Lloyd and Mildred Sams. She got her GED and became a CNA and worked for Folkston Park Nursing & Rehab. She has been living in St. Marys, Ga since 1996. She enjoyed playing BINGO in her spare time and loved all her residents at her job and they loved her. She was a generous, loving lady and was always there for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Carroll of St Marys, Ga, Daughters, Jennifer Rivera (Stephen) of St. Marys, Ga, Maria Norris (Adam) of Winston-Salem, NC  and Jessica Rivera of St. Marys, Ga. Siblings, Lloyd Odis "Sammy" Sams, II (Cheryl) of Greer, SC., April Sams (Brandi) of Fernandina beach, Fl, and Robin Compton of Perry, Iowa. A life long sister/friend, Theresa Davis of Abilene, Texas. Grandchildren, Haven, Alayna "Alex", Kaylee, Daniel & Jace. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Odis Sams and a sister, Wanda Sams.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
