It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Oralia Garcia, who left us peacefully on March 15, 2025. Born on February 21, 1946, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Oralia was an avid animal lover. Whether it was rescuing strays or caring for her own pets, her compassion for all living creatures knew no bounds. She found great joy in the company of animals.

In addition to her love for animals, she was an extraordinary cook. Her meals were more than just food - they were expressions of love and care that brought family and friends together. Whether preparing tamales or empanadas, her kitchen was where magic happened, and her delicious food will live on in the hearts and memories of those who were lucky enough to share them.

Oralia leaves behind her daughter Sandra (John) Long, grandson Matthew Lucio, sisters Odelia Sanchez, Ofelia (Lupe) Aguirre, Olga Garcia, and brother Rodolfo (Enedina) Garcia, along with countless nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories of their Tia Lala.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Fawn's Small Dog Rescue in her honor.
