Nancy A. Wood, 77, of St. Marys, Ga passed away at her residence on March 26, 2022.

Nancy was born on November 22, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Alvin and Irene Wood. She had worked for CSX railroad doing clerical work. She has been living in St. Marys for the past 15 years, moving here from Macclenny, FL. She was an avid Ga Bulldog fan, enjoyed collecting birdhouses, bears and loved her on-line shopping. Her family was everything to her and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Survivors are her children, Wendy Creppel of St. Marys, GA and Billy "Jody" Pittman (Meredith) of Orange Park, FL. A sister, Alice White, who was more than that, she was her best friend from Astatula, FL. Grandchildren, Bethany Pittman, Brooke Longstreet (Chris), Taylor Creppel, & Zach Hickman. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Allison Memorial Chapel at 11:00 am with Zane Owens officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, American Cancer Society or Camden House.
