Maryann Turner Seman, 71, of Kingsland, GA passed away on January 20, 2024 in Brunswick, GA.

Maryann was born on March 20, 1952 in Waycross, GA  to Martin Turner, Jr. and Darthell Dubberly Turner. While surrounded by the family she cherished and lifelong friends, Maryann Seman departed this life and entered the gates of glory on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Maryann loved celebrations of any descriptions. She was the life of the party and took command of the room whether with family, friends or strangers. Her personality was larger than life and left lasting impressions of pure joy! Her unwavering devotion and commitment to family was evident in her fierce defense of them – right or wrong. After suffering a stroke that took away her ability to speak fluently, she developed catch phrases that conveyed her thoughts, opinions and her unwavering love for those close to her. When requesting something she didn't agree with, you would hear "NOT TODAY"! When she would attend gatherings of family or friends, you would hear her comment "MY HEART IS GOOD"! She was a devoted believer and worshipper of her Lord and Savior Jesus. She loved attending church, raising her hands in worship and singing. No matter the occasion or the circumstance, forever on her lips was the phrase "PRAISE THE LORD". Maryann loved shopping – for anything and everything. In true Maryann fashion, she was shopping with Anna and Londyn when she became ill. I can only imagine her eyes wide to the splendor of heaven and the appearance of her Lord. She will forever be perfectly clothed in His magnificent love and talking nonstop to the angels and family members who have gone before. "Well done my beloved child. You have run your race and now you're home."

Maryann was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Seman; parents Martin A. (Shorty) and Darthell Turner and Sister, Wanda (Leon) Thrift.

Maryann leaves behind her Son, Jamey Seman (Carrie), daughter, Anna Fletcher (Nate), two brothers, Martin and Bill Turner and her deeply loved "Grands" – Londyn, Lincoln, Pierson (Fletcher); Noah, Luke and Matthew (Seman), several nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at The Harbor Worship Center in Kingsland, GA. A visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am and service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Colesburg Cemetery.

Maryann's nephews will serve as Pallbearers: Marty Turner, Wil Turner, Travis Thrift, Scott Thrift, W.C. Turner and Matthew Turner.
