Mary Frances Kell Gibson, 74 of St. Marys, GA passed away at U.F. Health N in Jacksonville, FL on June 27, 2024.

Mary was born on September 21, 1949 in Rome, GA to the late Manco Kell and Lois Ovell Miller Kell. She grew in Rome, GA and later was a long time resident of Brantley County and later moved to St. Marys, GA. Mary was married to William Clinton Gibson from 1969 to 2019. She was a Realtor in Brantley County and in Camden County. She enjoyed gardening, and loved her dogs, cats, and donkeys. She was a founding member of the Brantley County Fire Department, and Chairman of the Brantley County Airport Authority. She obtained funding for and supervised the construction for the runway at the Brantley County Airport.

Survivors are her siblings, Susan Kell of Cerrito, CA, Martha Kell of San Jose, CA, and Glen Kell of Marietta, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Louney Kell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.
