Mark Brian Slauzis, 62, of Kingsland, passed away at his residence on August 21, 2021.

Mark was born and raised in Portsmouth, VA. He moved to Kingsland in 2009 from Chesapeake, VA. He served 37 years in Civil Service shop #41 and retired from Kings Bay Submarine Base as an APSN for code 308, NNSY.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Debra Slauzis of Kingsland, GA, a son, Brian Slauzis of Newport News, VA. Two step daughters, Tiffany Tackett and Bridgette Weaver, both of Jacksonville, Fl. God children, Loren Work Parkinson and Jack Work, both of Eure, NC.

His was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Matthew Slauzis and Ruth Mary O'Connell.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Virginia.
