Mark Anthony Boris, Sr., 51, passed away August 24, 2021, at  Southeast Georgia Health System  in Brunswick, GA.

Mark was born October 25, 1969, in Paterson, NJ, to Robert Boris, Sr. and Linda Sklodowski Boris.  He served with the United States Coast Guard Reserves from 1988 until 1996, was a Hemodialysis Technician from 1995 until the present, and was a Detective with the Shelby Police Department in Shelby, North Carolina.  He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, golfing with his boys, and spending time with family.  He enjoyed singing and was a Neil Diamond impersonator, under the stage name, Mark in the Dark.

Mark is survived by his wife, Maggie Boris, their son Brandon Boris, both of St. Marys, his mother, Linda Boris of Spring Hill, Florida, brothers, Robert Boris, Jr. (wife Meera) of Wellington, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, his father, Robert Boris, Sr., and his son, Mark (Markie) Anthony Boris, Jr.

Mark was loved by everyone he met.  Mark was a loving father, husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
