Marjorie Ann Holmes, 89, of Kingsland, GA passed away at Lakes Crossing Senior Center on September 24, 2022.

Ms. Holmes was born on September 12, 1933 in Cherryville, Kansas to the late Henry and Alma King. She had resided in Bartlesville, OK until 2007, before coming to Camden County. She loved her family and was a Homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Barbery (Ken) of Kingsland, a grandson, Shane Barbery (Bethany) of Waverly, a brother, Jim King of Arkansas, and a sister, Geraldine Hampton of Kansas. Great grandchild, Dalton Barbery and two step Grandchildren, Dylan Faulk and Caitlin Merrow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Holmes, siblings, William King, Wilma Renfro, Gene King and Jack King.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor James Roberson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles or Lakes Crossing Senior Center.
