Marissa Lynn Turkaly, 24, stationed in St. Marys, GA passed away on July 21, 2025.

Marissa was born on December 13, 2000 in Weirton WV.

Survivors are her husband, Joray H. Ozuna, of TX. Father, Daniel W. Turkaly, USN, Brothers, Derek R. Turkaly, and Matthew J. Turkaly all of WV.

Special friend and more like a mother figure, Teresa Owen of WV.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas C. Turkaly, US Army Reserve.

Marissa was a loving, smart, hardworking, brave, strong, and independent woman. She served in the US Submarine force for the past six years at Kings Bay Naval base in St. Marys, GA. She was a loving wife, daughter, friend and will be deeply missed by all her knew her.
