Marian Elizabeth Davis (Henderson), Folkston, GA, passed away unexpectedly December 10, 2023 at the age of 80.

Marian was born September 1, 1943 in Boston Massachusetts to Nanette Ruth (Mueller) and Hayward Webb Henderson. Marian grew up in Minnesota attending Washburn High School in Minneapolis, MN and furthering her education overseas attending the American College of Paris for their inaugural year.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Jacobsen, and granddaughter Rhiannon Jones.

She is survived by her husband James Davis, GA, daughter Julie Howard (Shane), GA great grandsons Emerson King and Nolan King, GA, her brothers Robert Henderson (Karen), OH, and Thomas Henderson (Terry), NJ and sister Deborah Askland (Brad), MN.

Marian was loving called Gma by many of her family and friends because of her caring, motherly nature. Marian was always there for her family and friends by just providing a warm and friendly shoulder to lean on. She would unselfishly give to anyone that needed help and was always concerned for others around her. Marian was an animal lover to her core. She always took in any stray, and rescued/fostered many animals up until her passing.
