Margie Boone, 83, of Kingsland, GA went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2023 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA

Ms. Boone was born on August 5, 1939 to Eleanor and Henry Griffin of Marshville, N.C. She was a resident of Jacksonville, FL for many years before moving to Flint, MI. She was a resident in Michigan for 46 years. Margie was employed by St. Joseph Hospital where she worked as a Food Service Manager. She retired after 30 years and moved to Kingsland, GA in 2014 and remained here until her death. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in St. Marys, GA.

Survivors are her son, John Williams (Laura) of Kingsland, GA. Grandchildren, Carrie Knopf (Becca) of Swartz Creek, MI, Jennifer McGhan (Andy) of Kingsland, GA, Maggie Anderson (Larry) of Twinning, MI, and Jessica (Tyler) Murray of Woodbine, GA. Eleven Great Grandchildren, K-Ci, Britney, Samantha, Izaiah, Jordan, Maya, Julianna, Gracie, Reddick, Tessa, and Rhett. Two Great- Great Grandchildren, Levi and Kora Nicole.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams and a daughter, Elaine Anderson.

A Memorial Service for Margie Boone will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at The First Baptist Church in St. Marys, GA.
