Loretta Peeples, 81, longtime resident of Woodbine, GA passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2023.

Loretta was a beautiful, radiant soul who loved life. She wore a smile on her face and had kind, thoughtful words to share. She cherished Warren and her boys, Craig and Bryan. She had many friends who thought of her more as family and her cats and dogs were loved and spoiled rotten. She danced her way through life, always in search of the next dance floor. You could hear a tune on her radio by Elvis or from Time Life Golden Age of Country, coming from a speaker if she was near.  Her food was always delicious and made with love. She loved her Georgia Bulldogs. She was a devoted wife to Warren G Peeples, who preceded her in death.

Loretta is survived by her sons Craig and Bryan (Carolyn), her sister-like cousin Chris Edwards, cousin Ken Wallace, and many nieces and nephews. She loved Steve Rogers, Keith Pierce and Kathy Brown as her own.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4-6 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the Old Sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Logan, Tyler Logan, Kody Pierce, Kaleb Pierce, Justin Adcock, and Brett Roberts.
