Linda was born on September 10, 1946 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late James & Dorothy Jenkins. She worked as a designer at the Closet Factory. She moved from Marietta, Ga to Camden County in 1996. Her and her husband James were very involved in their Church in earlier years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Marys and enjoyed her church activities . She enjoyed shopping, travelling, cooking, and loved her family and her dogs.

Survivors are her daughter, Leslie Ritter (Jeff) of Kingsland, GA. Brothers, Larry Jenkins (Janet), Randy Jenkins (Chris), both of Dallas, Texas and Jeffrey Jenkins (Milla) of West Monroe, LA. A sister, Jennifer Manning (Doug) of Lafayette, LA and a granddaughter, Hannah Ritter.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Tallent and a brother Phillip Jenkins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday March 24, 2022 from 5:00- 6:30 at Allison Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services will be on Friday March 25, 2022 at First Baptist Church St. Marys at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Steve Kegley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Randy Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Doug Manning, Randy Kennison, Lee Tallent & Jeff Ritter.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Jamie Beckel.

Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
