Linda Carol Kennedy, 80, of St. Marys, GA passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2023 at Southeast Ga Regional Medical Center- Brunswick Campus.

Linda was born on June 12, 1942 in Blackshear, GA to the late Curtis and Eva O'Quinn Joyner. Her and her husband  George moved from Virginia, Beach, VA to Camden County in 2013. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles - St. Marys #4379 and also a member of the VFW. She was a trustee and hosted and volunteered many events. Linda was very social, loved hanging out with her friends, traveling, enjoyed fine dining and was a dear friend to many. She loved her Cosmos and and lastly...cheers to all of her friends.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Kennedy of St. Marys, GA. Children, Tracie Green of Bonita Springs, FL and Karen Bowers (Michael) of Conway, SC. Grandchildren, Jennifer Mann and Mikey Bowers. Great Grandchildren, Tyler Mann and Alex Brantley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Tuten.

A memorial service will be held on Monday April 24, 2023 at Allison Memorial Chapel at 3:30. They will have a gathering after the service at 5:00 at the VFW in St. Marys.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Camden House, American Cancer Society or the VFW.
