Leshad Dandre Cohen's Obituary
LeShad "Shad" Dandre Cohen, 29 of St Marys, Georgia passed away, November 8, 2021, at his residence.
Shad was born on April 18, 1992, in Brunswick, Georgia to Jimmie and Dena
Cohen. He moved to St Marys, Georgia in 2005. He was a people person, never
met a stranger, loved his family dearly, enjoyed coordinating family gatherings,
and traveling. He was a member of First African Missionary Baptist Church of
Kingsland.
Shad is survived by his parents, Jimmie Lee Cohen, Jr., and Dena Cohen, St. Marys,
Georgia. A brother, Tyree Cohen, St. Marys, Georgia. Grandparents, Almarie
Hutcherson, Brunswick, Georgia, Fostina Mitchell, St. Marys, Georgia and Mary
Cohen, Brunswick, Georgia. Aunts and Uncles: Vivian Mitchell, Audrey Easterling,
Cheryl Cohen, Eureka Lawrence, Vinson Wynn, Joseph Evans, David Williams,
Calvin Cohen (Lisa), Jimmie Cohen (Mia), Dwight Whing, and numerous other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers: Alonzo Hutcherson, Clarence
Mitchell, Jimmie Cohen, Sr., and his Aunt Beverly Whing.
Services will be held at Allison Memorial Chapel, Saturday November 20, 2021,
at 11:00 am.
Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
