Joseph Carl
Frost
May 21, 1941 — May 22, 2025
St. Marys
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share that Joseph Carl Frost, "Joe", passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, just one day after his 84th birthday, at the Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Born in Brattleboro, Vermont, to Ray and Millie Frost, Joe's life was one of warmth, joy, and quiet strength. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, and brothers Gene, Bob, and Dave.
Joe leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through his children, Lynn (Don) Lewis of St. Marys, GA, and Chris (Tonia) Frost of Eastman, GA; his grandchildren, Taylor (Tyler) Mobbs of St. Marys, Justin (Macy) Frost of Gray, and Jarred (Jacy) Frost of Rhine, GA; and his adored great-grandchildren, Everett, Emory, and Ella Mobbs, and Mollie and Ranz Frost. He is also survived by brothers Ronald (Virginia) Frost and Jack (Barbara) Frost, both of Virginia, sister-in-law Shirley (James) Hall, brothers-in-law Wade (Lisa) Petty and Larry Petty, all of St. Marys, as well as longtime family friend Marrisia Bowen, and many nieces and nephews.
His gentle spirit, easy smile, and unshakable patience made him a steady light in the lives of everyone around him. He lived each day with humility, humor, and a deep devotion to those he loved.
Joe was the kind of man who made life softer and more beautiful just by being in it. His quiet presence, kind heart, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers who supported Joe: Tammy, Brenda, Kaitlyn, Tina, and Shayla.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Joe's life on Tuesday, May 27th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.
A private burial will be held.
Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
