John Patrick Gritzner, 35, of Kingsland, GA passed away on November 28, 2024.

John was born February 6, 1989, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and was the youngest of four children born to Kathleen Carnes and Thomas Gritzner, Sr., and the stepson to Michael Martineau.

John is survived by his mother Kathleen Carnes, dad Michael Martineau;  daughters Kylee, and Lilly; siblings Kristi Drogseth (Jaymen), Kerry Gritzner (Brad Kunzweiler), Thomas Gritzner Jr., and Donnie Martineau; niece Ashley Winfield; and nephew Thomas Gritzner III.

John was a free spirit who had an innate ability to find humor in any situation. He had a smile that would light up the room. John was a loving father who enjoyed fishing or driving down a dirt road listening to his favorite country song.

John was preceded in death by his father Thomas Gritzner Sr.

A celebration of life for John Gritzner will be held at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Mary's on Tuesday December 3, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00.
