Orean "Jeanette" Dowling, 88, of Kingsland, GA, passed away on June 27, 2022, at her residence.

Jeanette was born in Andalusia, AL, on July 14, 1933, to the late Jessie & Myrtice Rabren Radford. For most of her life, she was a member of Ruhamah Baptist Church, where she loved her church family dearly and taught Sunday school for over 50 years. Jeanette was an avid reader and enjoyed playing scrabble, doing crossword puzzles, sewing, and canning.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Walter Dowling, two daughters, Gwen Harris (Rickey) of Brunswick, Georgia, and Von Crumley (Harvel) of Yulee, Florida, and two sons, Keith Dowling (Linda) of Kingsland, Georgia, and Wayne Dowling (Renee), of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and a son-in-law, Tripp Hill of St. Marys, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Kampe (Vernon) of Clinton, Missouri.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Linda Hill, granddaughter Amanda Howard, and brother Buddy Radford.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at Lawnwood Cemetery with her grandson, Pastor John Harris officiating. A visitation will be held on the morning of Thursday June 30, 2022 from 8:30-9:15 am at Allison Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
