Jean Lillian Turney, 84, of St. Marys, GA passed away on April 16, 2023 at UF Health-Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

Jean was born on July 11, 1938 in Johnson City, NY to the late William and Erna Muir. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, a LPN and enjoyed reading, watching TV, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Frederick Schneider of Kingsland, GA and Robert Schneider (Bessie) of Zephyrhills, FL. Step-Sons, Carl Turney (Teresa) and Wallace A. Turney, Jr. (Lisa) both of St. Marys, GA. Ten granddaughters, 9 grandsons, 5 great granddaughters, 5 great grandsons, one great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace A Turney, Sr, and a step-son, Aaron M. Turney.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:00 am. Service will start at 11:00 am at Allison Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Roberson officiating.
