Jean Davis, 88, of St. Marys, GA passed away on Monday March 4, 2024 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by all of her children and several of her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Jean was born on February 13, 1936 to Clinton and Minnie Whaley of Willacoochee, GA. She was one of twelve children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Colon Davis, a grandson, Bryan Brazell, and a great-grandson, Andrew Pierce.

She is survived by her three children, Gary Davis, Kathy Brazell, and Renee Davis. She was a devoted and proud Meme to her Grandchildren, Elise, Kaila, Christopher, Heather, Job, Noah, and Chloe. She had many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her family will always remember her beautiful blue eyes with her warm smile, always ready to greet you. She was a wonderful cook, talented seamstress, and loved to dress up. She will also be remembered for her grace when times were hard, her grit when things needed to be done, and her passion for living.

A graveside service will be at Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
