Jason De'Mar Rodgers quietly passed away in his home on October 1, 2025.

He was born on February 9, 1972 to Willie James Rodgers and Dinah Cook Rodgers. Jason served in the U.S. Navy from 1996 – 2002. He worked various other jobs and lived out his last few years enjoying his early retirement. Jason enjoyed drawing and writing poetry.

He is survived by his 3 children. Jazmin Rodgers King, Zachary James Rodgers and Jamie Edmisten. He had 3 grandchildren, Kylie King, Maizie King and James Rodgers.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Willie James Rodgers. His siblings are Monica Rodgers Monk (sister) and Richard Monk (brother in law). Jason was also an uncle to Michael Monk.
