Janie Marie Scripter, 41, of Kingsland, GA passed away at Southeast GA Health System- Brunswick Campus on November 8, 2024.

Janie was born on December 4, 1982 in Ashland, KY to Robert Lee Willis and Grace Barber Willis. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing, playing softball, participated in the marching band, color guard, and volunteered at Paramount Art Center. She enjoyed doing half marathons at Disney and earned multiple medals. She enjoyed family cookouts, going to Disney World with her family, going to concerts, playing UNO and putting puzzles together. She worked with special need children and loved being a kindergarten aide at Charles Barnum Elementary. She was an amazing stay at home mom.

Survivors are her husband, Ryan Scripter of Kingsland, GA. Mother, Kathy Willis, Brothers, James Willis, Tyler Barber, Children, Alena Scripter, Baylen Scripter, and Cadence Scripter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Willis, Grandparents, Marie Barber and William Barber, and Uncle Charles Barber.
