Janet lived a long and beautiful life surrounded by family and friends that loved her dearly. Early in her career she worked in the hospital as an aide in the maternity ward. She was a stay-at-home mom dedicating her time to her children's scout troops (Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts) PTA's, sporting events. She later worked at Baskin Robbins, Kroger's salad bar before retiring. She was lucky to live in England for a number of years and reside in the countryside where she loved to see the baby lambs born. After returning to the states, she and Walter lived in California before returning to Roanoke Virginia. She spent a lot of time with grandchildren in Roanoke and Richmond attending as many activities as she could. When her daughter and Patrick moved to Georgia, she moved with them and spent a number of years living with them in St. Marys. She opted to move to Magnolia Manor as to allow for her daughter to travel with her husband. She moved to the Hospice of the Golden Isles as her health declined only staying for a very short time. She will definitely be missed by all of her family.
