Jamie Royal Purdee, 55, of Kingsland, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his residence.

Jamie was born November 22, 1969, in Dublin, GA to James Royal Purdee and Betty Lee Landing Purdee. His gentle spirit, easy smile, and unshakable patience made him a steady light in the lives of everyone around him. He was a loving and devoted son, husband and father. He loved his girls more than anything in the world! He enjoyed fishing, hanging out with friends and football!! GO DAWGS!!! Jamie was the kind of man who made life easier and more beautiful just by being in it. His sense of humor, kind heart and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all his friends and family at this time.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Purdee, three daughters; McKayla Rickett, Caira Purdee (Rae Brow), Sierra Beard (Miles), three grandchildren; Michael Rickett, Raelynn Brow, Isreal Beard, his parents, and numerous other loved ones and friends. He is preceded in death by one sister, Kimberly Danese Purdee.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor and celebrate Jamie's life at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, Ga on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 6:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial with Masonic Rites will take place Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 12:00 Noon, at Minter Baptist Church Cemetery in East Dublin.
