James William Quibodeaux, 86, of St. Marys, GA passed away at his residence on May 5, 2024.

James Was born on June 16, 1937 in Crowley, LA to the late John and Grace Ewings Quibodeaux.

He served in the United States Navy and was a Chief Petty officer while serving. Coming from North Carolina, James has lived in St. Marys for the past 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking, was a jack of all trades, and loved spending time with his family. His great grandchildren were his world. He was the last living out of 12 children.

Survivors are his children, Stephen Jackson (Donna) of Wilmington, NC, Tammy Raikes (Ken) of Guyton, GA, Jeffrey Jackson of PA, Kimberly Chapman (Stephen) of Ellaville, GA, Duane Jackson (Sandra) of Virginia Beach, VA, Cynthia Thomas (Sye) of Brunswick, GA, and Lydia Grimmett (Jonathan) of St. Marys, GA. Twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday May 9, 2024 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA. Visitation will be from 3:30-4:00 and service beginning at 4:00 with military honors.
