James "Jim" Robert Meacham, Jr., 67 of St. Marys, GA passed away on August 30, 2023.

He was born in Sandusky, Ohio on June 7, 1956 to James Robert Meacham and Lois Ann (Kaiser) Meacham.  He lived in Ohio for most of his life, moving to Georgia in 2013.  After moving to Georgia, Jim always said he did not miss the Ohio winters.  He was a much-loved brother and friend to many.  Jim enjoyed being with his friends, watching television, and having his cat, Daisy, follow him around.  Where ever Jim was, Daisy was not too far behind.  He had a good memory for the important events in his life.  If you wanted to know when something happened, just ask Jim!

He is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his sisters Cynthia Ann Meacham (Barstow, CA), Diane Carol (Tom) Barth (Chantilly, VA), Marilyn Sue (Frank) Aspinwall (Kingsland, GA) and his brother Paul Lee Meacham (St. Marys, GA).  Jim  is also survived by several nephews and nieces: Edward Gary(Mianne) Linville (Barstow, CA), Rebecca Ashlee (Bryan) Gonzalez (Kingsland, GA), Jonathan Taylor (Danielle) Aspinwall (Tacoma, WA), Rachael Nicole Barth (Chantilly, VA) and great nephews Alexander Bane Gonzalez and Bryson James Gonzalez.

Memorial services will be held at Kingsland First Baptist Church on September 14, 2023 at 3:00.
