James Michael McKenna, 57, passed away on October 21, 2024.

James was born in Seattle, WA on February 28, 1967 to Thomas Kenneth McKenna and Joanne Petovic McKenna. He was a High school graduate and then went to University or Rhode Island where he earned a Masters degree in Education and played football and was the Quarterback. He later worked for 13 years at the Board of Education in NY, NY. James had a Bilingual Master's degree in History and Spanish and taught at various high schools. He volunteered with the Visiting Angels and also taught Bible study for the Methodist boys home. He loved God and was very dedicated to him. James was a member of Abundant Harvest Church. He enjoyed working out, spending time with his wife, Liliam and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors are his wife, Liliam McKenna of Kingsland, GA and siblings, Keith McKenna and Dorothy McKenna, both of New York. Two nieces Kathleen and Kimberly and three nephews, Thomas, Michael and Kevin Drake.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2024 at Abundant Harvest Church at 1:00 pm
