James (Jim) Calabro passed away on December 12th suddenly in Brunswick GA at the age of 84.

Jim was born October 14, 1941, in Detroit MI the son of John and Phyllis Gacchina Calabro. Jim married Nancy Rymal on January 28, 1966, in Detroit. Jim managed and operated Ace Auto Wrecking in Pomona CA, then became a Residential Painter in later years. Retiring to St Marys, GA Jim enjoined working in his yard and playing with his dog.

Jim is survived by his wife Nancy of 59 years, a brother Frank Calabro and sister Betty Fortucci; children Laurie Kortemeyer, Thomas Gaffier and Michelle Connelly; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service is planned for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel.
