Gloria Peeples Sheffield, 95 of Woodbine, GA passed away at her residence on November 2, 2021.

Gloria was born on June 19, 1926 to the late Upton and Elizabeth Peeples. She has lived in Camden most of her life and had worked for her family's business, Western Sizzlin where she took care of the book keeping. She was a member of First Baptist Kingsland and actively visited the Friendship Baptist and Harrietts Bluff Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. Being with her family is what she loved most, and also loved all children. Gloria enjoyed riding around in the car, flowers, plants and playing cards.

Survivors include her son, Bill Sheffield of Kingsland. A sister, Barbara P. Moore (Roy) of St. Marys, Grandchildren, Trip Sheffield, Danny Sheffield and Franklin Sheffield and had 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Sheffield, a son, Frank Sheffield and a granddaughter, Melissa House.

A visitation will be held at Allison Memorial Chapel from 10:30 - 11:30 on Monday November 8, 2021 with Funeral services starting at 11:30. Burial will follow in Sheffield Cemetery.
