George Edward Perryman,73, of Perkins, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at his residence.

George was born August 11, 1951, in Millen, GA to James Perryman and Mary Ursery Perryman. He spent most of his life in Yulee and resided in Perkins for the past six years. George was a God-fearing man who loved his community and the outdoors, fishing, hunting, trapping, and riding horses. He was an excellent cook and loved hosting cookouts and BBQ parties. George was an electrician by trade with the IBEW Union. George was a father figure to many of his children's friends, and will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, and papa.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years; Susan Perryman, his son; T.J. Perryman (Rose), six grandchildren; Colton Perryman (Briar), Justin Perryman, Levi Perryman, Harley Perryman, Clay Perryman, and Tammy Amburgey, two sisters; Linda Perryman, Jannell Amos (Randy), two great grandchildren; Cason Perryman, Namari Perryman, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son James Perryman.

Services will be held Wednesday May 28, 2025, at 11:30 AM, at Allison Memorial Chapel. There will be a visitation an hour prior at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow the service at Hughes Cemetery in Yulee. Colton Perryman, Justin Perryman, Levi Perryman, Michael Rowland, Jeremiah Davila, and Mitch Merchand will serve as active pallbearers.
