On September 12, 2025, George Anthony Dennis, passed away at his home in Kingsland, GA.

He was born on September 13, 1948, and spent most of his life in New Jersey, before moving to Kingsland, Georgia, in 2005. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he found great joy in coaching softball and sharing his love of the game with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Dennis and George Dennis.

George is survived by his daughters Tiffany Grier, Heather Murphy, and Amy Dennis, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Paige Murphy, Peyton Murphy, Madison Grier, and Braydon Grier. He was proud of his family, and his memory will continue to live on in their hearts.

A funeral service is planned for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:30 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
