Genida Marie Searles, 61, of St. Marys, GA passed away in Brunswick, GA at Southeast GA Health System- Brunswick Campus

Genida was born on July 29, 1961 in Newport News, VA  to John T. Cofield, Sr and Marie Johnson Cofield.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Searles from St. Marys, GA. Children, Ronnie L. Searles of St. Marys, GA, Michelle K. Searles of Port Wentworth, GA, and Mika L. Searles of Cartersville, GA. Four brothers and Three sisters. Two grandchildren, Roland Searles and Ryland Searles.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5-7:30 at Allison Memorial Funeral Home. Full services and burial will be handled through Cooke Brothers Funeral Home in Newport News, VA at a later date.

Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
