Gale V. Knowles, 65, of Kingsland, GA passed at Memorial Health in Jacksonville, FL after a long battle with Lupus on November 4, 2024.

Gale was born on April 9, 1959 in Detroit MI to the late Horace Minnefield and Barbara Calhoun Minnefield. She graduated from high school, attended college and worked at Aetna as a Secretary. Gale was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, butterflies, her dogs, and had a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. She was full of life and loved her family very much.

Survivors are her children, Michael Knowles, Jr. of Hartford, CT. LaShanda Pugh of Atlanta, GA, Cedrone Knowles of Norwich, CT, and Ursula Chappelle of Norwich, CT. Siblings, Clyde Minnefield of Ft Worth, VA, Wayne (Lois) Minnefield of Middletown, CT, and Joann Ryan of Kingsland, GA. 17 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Knowles, Sr., brothers, Darrell Minnefeld and Max Minnefield.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday Nov 16, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
