Fran Womack, 77 of Monticello, GA passed away at Satilla Bluffs Senior Care in Blackshear, GA on April 19, 2025

Fran was born on June 12, 1947 in Dalton, GA to the late Jerry Moore and Frances Louise Kirk. She lived happily in Monticello, GA and within the past 4 years she moved to Waverly, GA. In her earlier years she was very involved with the Girl Scouts. Fran was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church. Her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. Fran worked in Finance for the Butts Co Board of Commissioners where she later retired.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her "Daddy", James Burton Kirk, husband, Michael Womack, and a brother, Kirk Moore.

Survivors are her children, Rachel Weldon (Lance) of St. Marys, GA and Robert Williams (Shawna) of Waverly, GA. Grandchildren, Whitney Weldon, Garrick Weldon, Gabriel Williams, and Garrett Williams. Last surviving brother, Jim Kirk (Eillene) of Jasper, GA, Niece, Kristin Little, and nephews, James Kirk, Garrick Moore, Patrick Moore, and Sean Moore.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.
