Eloise Harris Dalton, 99, of St. Marys, GA passed away on March 21, 2026 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA.

Eloise was born on February 18, 1927 in Montgomery, AL to the late Nick Harris, Sr. and Viola Moore Harris. She enjoyed gardening and was a charter member of the St. Marys Garden Club and a member of the Red hats society and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was the oldest member of the First Presbyterian Church of St. Marys, GA.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Dalton (Denise) of Woodbine, GA and a granddaughter, Lindsey Murphy (Jerod) of Woodbine, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dalton. Siblings, Nick W. Harris, Jr., and Geraldine Gibbs.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 4:30pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-4:30 pm

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA or Magnolia Manor of St. Marys, GA
