Elizabeth Ann Cox passed away on December 11th, 2023 at UF Health North Campus, Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness.

Elizabeth Ann Cox was born in Pearson, GA to Doma Lucille Smith Johnson. She leaves behind a husband, Daniel Henry Cox, married for a wonderful 54 years.  She leaves behind one daughter, Jennifer Cox (Rob Cox) and one grandson Cameron Cox.

She was preceded in death by her mom, two brothers Kenneth Johnson, Leo Johnson and one nephew Blake Johnson.

Her survivors include three siblings: Carolyn Koski (Donald), Karen Carter (Timmy), and Kevin Coleman (Selina) and multiple nephews and nieces: Missy Thrift (David), Marty Cox (Stephanie), Christopher Carter (Amy), Stefan Carter (Jessica), Kendle Coleman, Kyle Coleman and Kennedy Wieden (Jameson).  Her grand niece Kara Lynn Carter and nephews Cohen Carter, Judson Carter, Korban Carter, Aysen Coleman, Kayden Coleman, Elijah Coleman, Christopher Coleman, John Wieden, and Jordan Wieden.

She was the epitome of JOY and such a Mom, Nana, Aunt, and Friend that could only be dreamed of and she loved attending church especially at St. Marys Church, traveling/cruising and spending as much time as she could with Cameron and being around family.  We long for the day to see her again but know she is walking the streets of Gold getting ready to greet us all as we cross over one day

Visitation will be Thursday December 14th. at 10am followed by a Celebration at 11am at St. Marys Church in St. Marys, GA.  Graveside Service will be Camp Branch Cemetery in Manor, GA at 2pm.

Flowers are welcome, and other contributions can be sent to the Camden County Humane Society. https://humanecamden.org/donate/
