Edna Lee Dunlap Conley passed away in the early morning hours of June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 21, 1939, in Columbia, South Carolina to Robert J. Dunlap and Monte Belle Smith-Dunlap.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 30, 1950, in Folly Beach, South Carolina. She spent many years in the full-time ministry.

On June 11, 1961, she married Lawrence Conley, and they went on to have three children, four grandchildren and a blended family of nine great grandchildren.

Edna loved people and volunteered to help and pray with people expecting nothing in return. She was a keeper of secrets and gave excellent advice. Most of all, she loved the full-time ministry and her Heavenly Father.

Three years ago, she moved to Kingsland to be with her family and got to go on many adventures that filled her with happiness.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Conley, her father Robert J. Dunlap (RJ), her mother Monte Belle Smith Dunlap, her sister Barbara Jackson and her brother Robert Dunlap, Jr.

Edna is survived by daughter Melissa Burdette and her husband Rob of Kingsland, her daughter Loree Roberts of Columbia, SC, her son Lynn Conley and his wife Heather of Panama City Beach, FL, her granddaughter Tabitha Thompson and her husband Steven of SC, her grandsons Joshua Payne of Pax River, MD, Logan Burdette of Kingsland, and Andrew Conley of Panama City Beach, FL.

Special thanks to the bonus family of Sonia and Jeff Brealon, Patty Jackson, Betty Smith, Vicky and Paul Houser and the entire St. Marys GA and Lower Richland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for loving her and staying in regular contact. Thank you to the neighbors who have helped.

Thank you to our Hospice team, especially Mona, Jessica, Lisa, and Brittany who took excellent care of all of the family and were there at the end.
