Donna Jean Scharlach, 59, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt  and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna was born on March 27, 1964 in Mishawaka, Indiana, where she spent her formative years. She attended high school at Mishawaka High and later became a truck driver. She was known for her passion for helping others and stealing the check before anyone else had a chance to pay for their own meal. But more than anything, Donna was a proud grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandkids, she loved spoiling them and ranting about all of their accomplishments. She also enjoyed crocheting. More specifically many, many 4x4 squares and an occasional blanket when persuaded by her sisters.

Donna was proceeded in death by mother, Diane May Brown; her father, Donald James Winski Sr; her step mother, Francis Winski; a sister, Dorthy Marie Stewart; and a brother, Donald James Winski Jr.

Donna is survived by her children, Amanda (Arturo) Miranda, Bethann Scharlach, Justin (Sarah) Winski, and Monica Markowski; her grandchildren, Lt, Lizabeth, Lilliana, AJ, Analiah, Yuuma, Jason, and Eden; her sisters, Debbie Belcher, Pamela (Alan) Merseal, Barbie (Mac) Mcgahagin; and her nieces/nephews, Keith, Justin, Brian, Ashley, Hope, Juliana, and Heather.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. A private visitation will be held for the family.
