Deborah "Debbie" Sue Simko, 65, of Jacksonville FL passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA.

Debbie was born on March 5, 1958 to Marion and Ruth Humphrey Sharp in Hinesville, GA. She graduated from Warner Highschool in Oklahoma and graduated with a Doctorate degree in Nursing from the Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed reading, researching, crocheting, and studying her nursing to teach others and helping them learn. She was a very caring and loving person to all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Simko of Jacksonville, FL, her mother, Ruth Sharp of Kingsland, GA, Siblings, Sandy McCollough of Woodbine, GA, and Gary Sharp (Karen) of Welaka, FL. Nieces and Nephews, April Frawley, Jessica Clifford, Sara Widner, Chase Sharp, Garrett Sharp and Haley Sharp and best friend, Pat Gerrior.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Sharp.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10:15 am at Burnt Fort Cemetery.
