David L. Oleske, 79 of St. Marys, GA passed away on April 24, 2026.

Dave was born on October 31, 1946 in Chicago Illinois to a small, loving family.

Survivors are his wife, Paphada T. Dowling. Two children, Deanna Oleske Witron and Dana Oleske. Two younger sisters whom he loved and very close to, Linda Oleske Mijka,(Tony) and Karen Oleske. Two grandchildren, Gregorio and Gustavo. Nieces and Nephew, Kyle, Josie, and Alyssa (Tom).

Dave joined the Navy in 1966 and was a tool and die maker, then became a mold maker. He was intelligent, hardworking and kind-hearted, and has a wide range of knowledge mechanisms skills and can repair almost anything. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports and he enjoyed scuba diving and snow and water skiing. He also won medals in several tennis tournaments.

When he retired, he took on small repairs jobs and he spent most of his time playing pickle ball, until he got sick. He was enjoying his retirement life with his beloved beautiful wife Paphada T Dowling (Tik) until the last moment of his life.
