Daniel William Norris born 30 May 1954 in Oakland California left this earth April 7 2025.

May the Lord let him rest after a life without fair winds and following sea's. Daniel served in the United States Navy for 18 years. He then found his way to south Florida and eventually Kingsland GA. He has been with Rita McIntosh for the past 20 years sharing and nurturing each other in Kingsland.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother Elise Tatum Norris (Moore Haven Florida) and Father Dana William Norris (Syracuse NY)

Dan is survived by his companion Rita McIntosh. High school sweetheart Paula Titus Norris (Groton CT) Mother of  Daughters Shelly Elise Norris(Groton CT), Amy M Norris (Groton CT) and four grandchildren Joshua Norris, Chandler Metivier, Ada Metivier and Jovie Linger. Brothers Donald Norris (Islamorada FL), David Norris (Tonya) (St. Mary's GA) and Charles Norris (Terry)(St. Mary's GA). 7 Nieces and Nephews and 9 Great Nieces and Nephews.

A private service and burial at sea will take place at a later date. If anyone wished to donate please donate to your local food bank.
